Guess what?

Remember that gift certificate I designed for my local anime store's contest?

...Well, it won! I couldn't believe it -- it's not even really "anime"! And even better, I've been commissioned to design an image to slip into the DVD cases that they're using to hold the gift certificates. I was thinking that for that particular drawing, I'd go with something more "anime~ish".

Anyway, if you happen to live in the area, why not support Neo Tokyo and buy a gift certificate - Christmas is coming, y'know... :3

Heh, thanks. They have a cute plushie hamster thing in a Godzilla costume in the store, and I think the inclusion of something that actually related to the shop was what won it for me, since there were a lot of entries that were much better than mine.

Yup, and as soon as I finish it, I have every intention of posting it. It's supposed to be front-and-back, so I'll be able to get two deviations out of it. :P
